City of Alamogordo, NM
Jido Geospatial has successfully completed a variety of GIS projects for the City of Alamogordo, NM. As a GIS Administrator, we have led the expansion of the City’s ArcGIS Online presence, including web app development, field editing workflows, Hub creation, Dashboards, and training. We also developed a GIS-based water/wastewater outage program, handling everything from data development and web editing apps to Make webhook automation, citizen notifications, manager dashboards, and Python scripting. Additionally, we implemented the GIS components of Tyler/EnerGov’s asset management and permitting systems, enhancing the City's operational efficiency.

Make Webhook + CivicPlus + MS 365
Several Make (formerly Integromat) scenarios were developed to automate citizen notifications for water and wastewater repairs via an email listserv and the city website. Each notification is customized based on the outage type. An API call to CivicPlus creates an alert, enabling staff to enter an outage once in ArcGIS Online while all notifications are generated automatically. Make also sends nightly reminders to staff about open outages and facilitates outage repair notifications.

MS 365 Outage E-mail
This is an example email that is sent to an outage email listserv. Each email is unique based off of the type of outage created or repaired in ArcGIS Field Maps and is automated through a webhook.

Training + Documentation
Several training guides were created detailing outage workflows and various components. Training videos were also recorded for City Staff, along with live training sessions.
-
Python Scripting
Several Python scripts were developed for AGOL backups, Tyler/EnerGov web services, Tyler/EnerGov ID updates, and automated utility outage feature closures
-
Tyler/EnerGov EAM + ERP Integration
GIS data schemas for utility datasets were modified for Tyler/EnerGov integration. Basemaps were generated for EAM and ERP modules, along with Python scripts for republishing REST services on a nightly basis.
